Fete date changed at Barkwith

There is a change of day and time for the Barkwith Parish Fete this year.

It will now take place at St Mary’s Church on Saturday, June 4, starting at 4pm.

There will be all the usual attractions, with the addition of a photography competition.

Pictures must have been taken within the last two years and be a maximum size of eight inches by six inches.

Entries can be taken along on the day and topics for the classes include a village event, a four-legged friend and a favourite view.

The fete opens at 4pm and donations for the stalls and competitions will be welcome.
