Have your say on future of Spilsby
Spilsby Town Council are launching a campaign to gather feedback on specific policies of the
Neighbourhood Development Plan - such as housing development, transport/infrastructure, employment, landscape and green spaces.

Hide AdThe public consultation runs from July 13 to midnight August 10, and is open to residents and businesses.
Mayor of Spilsby Coun Terry Taylor said: "This is so important. The town council will be dropping
leaflets through every door, which will have a space for .comments. Boxes will be
placed around the town to post the completed forms."
Town councillors are running a market stall for the launch on July 13, when the public can record and post their comments.

Hide AdOne of the projects is a proposed housing development for land east of Spilsby.
A meeting was held in May to discuss the first stage of the development
Representatives of Spilsby Town Council (STC) and ELDC heard from the prospective developers that archaeologist's and ecologists are presently on site.
ELDC planning officers are assisting the developers with a comprehensive planning application for an initial 450 homes and a proposed, much larger, replacement doctor's surgery.

Hide AdIt is hoped that a detailed planning application could be ready for submission sometime in October, with a possible start in the spring of 2021.
