Chris Cope contested the ultra-distance multi-terrain event in Hebden Bridge over the weekend - claiming second place.
After completing the challenging 32 miles running over fells and dales, including 1,500 metres of climbing, the Boston and District AC runner finished in runner-up spot.
Given that his routine training is based on flat terrain and his lack of experience in both fell running and ultra distance, this was an outstanding achievement.
