Fire calls in Skegness and Wainfleet

Skegness firefighters were called out to a cooker blaze this morning (Saturday).
The fire was reported at a home in Lady Matilda’s Drive, Skegness, just after 5.45am.
A dry powder extinguisher was used to extinguish the blaze.
Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue has not detailed any damage at the home.
• Shortly before midnight, Wainfleet firefighters were called out to a report of a fire on Church Lane at Croft, but this turned out to be a hoax call.
