Council flushed with pride over loo awards
The toilets are among 12 across East Lindsey to be praised for the quality of the facilities and hygiene standards.
Each were subject to unannounced inspections with judges grading the toilets Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond.
Results were:
- Tower Esplanade (Platinum)
- Tower Gardens (Platinum)
- Briar Way (Gold)
- North Parade (Gold)
- Lumley Square (Gold)

Hide AdTwo of the toilets - Tower Gardens, Skegness and Roman Bank, Sandilands - saw improved gradings from Gold last year to Platinum this year.
Portfolio Holder for Operational Services at the District Council, Councillor Martin Foster, said: “This is excellent news to achieve such high standards in these awards for the second year running.
"Local people and visitors expect access to clean, good quality public toilets. We would like to thank the Team at Danfo working in the local area for their continued hard work and commitment.”
