Pregnant horse rescued from ditch
Fire crews rescued a pregnant horse after it became stuck in a ditch at Pointon Fen yesterday (Thursday).
Crews from Billingborough, Corby Glen and Sleaford were called to the incident reported to Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue at 6.06pm.
The crews reportedly used ‘straps’ to rescue the horse.
The service reported that the horse and foal were both ‘fine’ following the incident.
