Remembrance Day 2018: Opportunity to view artefacts
It was held in St Peter’s Hall after what has been described as one of the most the well-attended Remembrance Day services in St Peter’s Church, including members of RAF Northolt who were staying at Butlins.
Organiser John Orgine said a good number of people went along to the meal and it is expected more than £100 was raised.

Also on show was a silhouette of a soldier, which John was successful in being awarded, from the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust. This will be presented to St Peter’s Church following a service on Wednesday morning at 10am.
The meal was free but donation boxes for the Royal British Legion were handed around.
Catering was paid for by a donation by Ingoldmells Parish Council and organisers say they are grateful for the ‘good quality’ raffle prizes donated by residents.
