Alt-J, High Flying Birds and Portishead to headline Latitude Festival 2015

One of the region’s biggest events - Latitude Festival has announced its headline music and comedy acts for its 10th anniversary year.

Between Thursday 16 and Sunday 19 July, big names in music, comedy, poetry, film and the arts will perform in the stunning grounds of Henham Park in Suffolk.

Friday 17 will see Mercury Prize-winning art-rockers Alt-J take to the Obelisk Arena, with musical icons Portishead and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds joining on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

Whilst the BBC Radio 6 Music Stage features Public Service Broadcasting, The Vaccines and La Roux amongst its headline acts.

Also on the festival music bill will be the Manic Street Preachers, Caribou, James Blake and Seasick Steve.

The comedy tent will see some of the biggest names in the business hit the stage including Alan Davies, Jason Manford, Jon Richardson, Jack Dee, Josh Widdicombe and Shappi Khorsandi.

The 10th anniversary of Latitude also features two exciting new areas, swimming in the lake for the first time in the festival’s history and hot tubs where audiences can soak up the atmosphere.
