Calling all artists (of any age and ability) ... Sleaford-area arts body to hold open exhibition in response to Covid-19
The National Centre for Craft and Design (NCCD) is organising the event – dubbed the NCCD Art Club – in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
It is free to enter and open to all.
“The isolation of lockdown has been difficult and challenging for many,” a NCCD spokesman said. “Everyone’s experience of Covid-19 has been unique and as we all try to make sense of the last few months, we want to unite our community through creativity to help us all respond, recover and look ahead to a new world.

Inspired by its current exhibition, Body & Mind: Seen & Unseen, the NCCD is calling for artwork on four themes – Inside/Outside, Creative Healing, Joy and Happiness, and What’s Your Daily Medicine?
Pieces can be in any form (visual arts, 2D or 3D, digital, craft, performing arts, dance, written/spoken word, music, creative writing and so on), with one entry per person per theme allowed.
Selected entries will be exhibited as part of an exhibition – either physical or virtual – later in the year.
