Caistor Lions help boost Marie Curie appeal
Shoppers and passers-by in Caistor might have been a bit nonplussed to see a number of people dressed in bright yellow vests and hats, trying to look vaguely like daffodils.
Closer inspection, however, would have revealed that these were members of Caistor Lions Club fundraising for the Marie Curie Great Daffodil Appeal.
Linda Mason and Ann Prestwood were just two of the generous shoppers who helped raise £237 as the Lions positioned themselves in Caistor Market Place and outside the Co-op Foodstore.
