Charity’s Christmas Carol Service to celebrate dedication to ending homelessness

A special Christmas Carol Service hosted by Framework, the charity working tirelessly to end homelessness, will take place at Boston Stump on December 13.
Everyone is welcome to join in the carols with the parish choir at this year’s service, taking place at 2pm at St Botolph’s Church.
It will also be a chance to hear more about the work of the charity and donate towards Medlock House, the charity’s accommodation in Boston that provides self contained flats for 18 people who have experienced homelessness. Opened in 2020, it has helped many residents receive the support they need to find their feet and move towards living more independently in the future.
Framework Director Steve Watson will be giving an address at the service, sharing news about the work of Framework in supporting those who are homeless in Boston and Lincolnshire. He'll also speak about the challenges and opportunities we face as a society, in supporting those who are vulnerable at this tumultuous time.
Deputy Mayor of Boston, Cllr Patsie Marson, and the former Mayor, Cllr Helen Staples along with Cllrs John Baxter and Kev Dale will be attending the special service.
Matt Cooke, Framework Fundraising Team Manager, said: “It’s a celebration of our hard work and commitment to ending homelessness and tackling disadvantage in Boston and is a chance for supporters, staff and the general public to come together, get into the festive spirit, make a donation towards Medlock House and hear more about what Framework has been up to this past year.”
There will be an opportunity to join Framework staff for festive refreshments after the service and find out more about the vital work the charity is delivering in Boston and across Lincolnshire.
People are requested to register for a free place in advance if possible, but the carol service is open to all and everyone is welcome to attend on the day.
