Churches
Celebrate West Lindsey’s rich architecture and heritage with the 2012 Churches Festival. Over two weekends, 85 beautiful churches will fling their doors open to visitors.
On 5th and 6th May 40 churches in the east of the district will open, followed by another 45 in the west on 12th and 13th May.
Activities will include organ trails, flower and art displays, bell-ringing, big brunch breakfasts, wedding festivals and Diamond Jubilee and Olympics celebrations.

Hide AdTo get away from all the noise and activity, there are self-nominated quiet churches where you can relax in the beautiful spiritual buildings.
Many churches will serve refreshments such as ploughman lunches, bacon butties and even traditional full English breakfasts.
