Dinnington: Operatic Society presenting Cinderella at Lyric Theatre

It is the first time in nine years that the group has performed this popular show and spokesman Wendy Fidoe says everyone is looking forward to it.

“The society is well-known for the quality of it productions and has won awards for the work it does,” she said.

“They have a wonderful reputation for the high standard of their shows which are well attended.”

“Being an operatic society the choral singing and solos are often of a very high standard as is the musical production.”

“Not only this, they go to great lengths to get great backdrops, costumes and scenery too.”

The cast, led by Isabel Canning as Cinderella, will be joined by dancers from the award-winning Julie Turner Stage Academy, who have performed at EuroDisney amongst other prestigious places.

The show opens tomorrow night and runs until Saturday, 25th January.
