“The knowledge that we’ll forever have our name etched in the annals of history, and to know we’ve played on the hallowed grounds of Donington Park is overwhelming.”

“We’ve been practicing hard in preparation to make sure we’re ready to blow to roof off that tent.”

“What is most incredible about this opportunity is knowing that we achieved this through not just our own hard work, but by the passion and support show to us from our friends and our community.”

“It’s a great honour to be able to show people old and young alike, that if you believe in a goal, and you wake up early, and work hard, anything is possible.”

“We’d like to thank everyone once again for supporting us throughout this opportunity, we will do you all proud.”

The band’s journey to Download Festival started back in April when they finished first out of 100 bands chosen to go through to the next round.

They then went before a judging panel made up of Don Broco, Kerrang Radio’s Katie P, Radio 1’s Huw Stephens and Angie Somerside and the general manager of Red Bull Records and were chosen as one of 15 bands to go to Red Bull Studios in London to record a live track.

They Say Fall are one of eight bands chosen to play at the festival.

Six of those bands were voted for by the public and the final two are wild cards chosen by the judging panel,

They Say Fall will take to the The Red Bull Studios Stage at Download Festival at 3.30pm on Friday 13th June.
