DINNINGTON Lyric Theatre: Dick Whittington and His Cat. Dinnington Operatic Society perform this favourite family pantomime. Society regulars Samantha Smedley and Isabel Canning return as Dick and Alice and newcomer Maria Bolstridge takes on Tommy the cat. John Green will petrify as King Rat and the laughs come from Ashley Booker as Jack the village idiot and Johnathan Cobb as the Dame. Look carefully and you might even see some gangnam style. ROTHERHAM College of Arts and Technology: Happy Families. Runs Tuesday 29th January – Saturday 2nd February. Performance times 7.15pm. The Phoenix Players presents Happy Families by John Godber. The autobiographical play is set in Northern England and tells the story of a boy called John and his parents Vic and Dot.
