Acorn Theatre, Worksop: What the Dickens! Show starts at 7.30pm. Young Charles Dickens is a rookie reporter on The Morning Chronicle. Whilst investigating the foggy slums of Ye Olde London Towne, he accidently stumbles on a story that could make his reputation. Tickets are £8, £7 concession.

The Crossing, Worksop: A Broadway Spectacular. Show starts at 7.30pm. The Derby Concert Band, under their musical director Simon Willis, make their first visit to The Crossing with their programme called A Broadway Spectacular.Tickets are £8, £7 concession, £4 under 16s.

Civic Theatre, Rotherham: An Adult Evening with Billy Pearce. Show starts at 7.30pm. Yorkshire born Billy Pearce emerged from the tough training grounds of the northern club circuit to become one of Britain’s most talented comedians. Billy has performed at various Royal Variety shows, he loves singing, dancing and acting and has appeared on stage in Boogie Nights and in the much loved TV series Heartbeat. He’s is looking forward to returning to Rotherham Civic Theatre yet again to perform his adult show. Tickets are £14.

Palace Theatre Mansfield: Hello Dolly. Show starts at 7.30pm. Crucible, Sheffield: A Christmas Carol - The Musical. Show starts at 7.45pm. Following their 2011 sell–out production of West Side Story, Sheffield Teachers Operatic Society present a brand new production of the timeless classic A Christmas Carol. Acorn Theatre, Worksop: Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Runs until Saturday 17th November. Performance at 7.30pm. Tennessee Williams’ Pullitzer Prize-winning play will be brought to life in Worksop, showing a world of hypocrisy, greed and secret passions that threaten to tear apart a wealthy but dysfunctional Mississippi family. The drama unfolds during a family party to celebrate the birthday of patriarch Big Daddy Pollitt who has just returned from a clinic with, apparently, a clean bill of health - he does in fact have cancer. Tickets are £6.
