Free festival bands named

the line-up for this year’s free Doncaster Live Music Festival outside the Corn Exchange on September 3 and 4, has been unveiled.

Saturday is headlined by the Stereo MCs, best known for their hits Step it Up and Connected. Also confirmed for Saturday are Hey Sholay, Pete Jackson, Summerlin and The Beaus.

Bands performing on Sunday are: Above Them, Alexandra Leigh Parker, Better for Nothing, Fallen Trees, Ice House Project, J Kas, Kiziah and the Kings, Middleman, Mount Fabric, Sea of Lions, Sigseries, Skarlett Riot, Slow Pines, Stone Ugly, The Adulescents, Tom Bradley and Wet Nuns.

Coun Cynthia Ransome, cabinet member for communities, said: “The popular free festival returns with a wide selection of bands for music lovers to enjoy.

“Doncaster Live is always a good event and I encourage everyone to attend.”
