Gainsborough singer songwriter to perform at SO Festival

Singer songwriter Lizzie Goddard, 16, of Gainsborough is hoping to support Cody Simpson at his up-coming show in Manchester

Lizzie will perform alongside several of Lincolnshire’s best up and coming artists and bands on Friday 5th July starting at 7pm.

The 16-year-old has recently attended BBC Musician Masterclass and the video for her song In My Arms has passed 3,000 views on YouTube.

Lizzie said: “When I was asked to play in the BBC Introducing in Lincolnshire show at this year’s SO Festival, I immediately said yes.”

“To be given the chance to play a BBC show in my home county is a great opportunity, and I’m really looking forward to performing.”

Other acts confirmed for the BBC Introducing Live in Lincolnshire include The Natterjacks, Cloud of Birds, Hype-O, Bevan, Bear Makes Ninja, The Moth Lantern and The Enclosed Garden.
