High energy Celtic rock at arts centre

A five-piece Celtic rock band, Julie McLelland and the Band from County Hell, has been described as one of the most exciting and original Celtic bands on today’s circuit.

The band was founded by front man Steven McLelland in 1995 who originates from Glasgow.

The present line up of the band includes three members of the McLealland family with Ben leading the melody on fiddle, whistle and accordion.

Having performed in France, Germany and Ireland, and also appearing at art centres, music venues, festival and theatres around the UK.

They have even licensed songs to film celebrities and football teams and their own show at The London Palladium.

This year has seen their band release their sixth original album called Shifts And Changes, which recently received a four-star review from RocknReel Magazine.

They are well loved for their live performances which are high on energy, sincerity and humour.

Julie McLelland and the Band from County Hell are playing at the Trinity Arts Centre in Gainsborough on Friday 13th December, starting at 7.30pm.
