Isle dancers compete in regional finals
An Epworth dance teacher and choreographer has helped two groups through to the regional finals of a youth dance event on Saturday.
Ayisha Simpson, 24, works with both the Street Beat Dance Academy and contemporary youth dance company Elements, both of whom made the regional finals of Fresh 2014, for dancers aged 11 to 19. The competition is part of U.Dance 2014, and 25 regional finalists have been chosen, of whom nine will make the finals in Nottingham on June 26 to 29.
Street Beat (pictured above) will perform at West Yorkshire Playhouse, and Elements at The Loft at Yorkshire Dance as part of the Fresh Fringe event.
