Last blues session of the year at Hope Tavern
This week’s blues session at the Hope Tavern introduces Shinkicker and is the final Sunday session of the year.
The band came into being through a collaboration between drummer Pete Pearson with husband and wife team Simon and Candy Holmes.
Shinkicker lay rhythm & blues, rock, rockabilly and beyond, but with a particular tendency towards the Irish blues rock of Rory Gallagher.

The band has enjoyed performing a Rory Gallagher Special at various venues and particularly at the Newark Blues Festival for the last four years. They are at the Holton le Moor venue this Sunday, December 13, at 4pm.
