The Red Herring Comedy Club presents another rising star of the British stand-up scene at the Engine Shed in Lincoln next week as Andrew Lawrence brings his Reasons To Kill Yourself tour to the venue.

Andrew Lawrence has been a regular on BBC1’s Live at the Apollo, BBC3’s Edinburgh Comedy Fest Live and Channel 4’s Stand-Up For The Week.

He’s had three series of his own show on BBC Radio 4 and a double Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee.

He came to prominence when he won So You Think You’re funny? in 2003.

Most Popular

His first main show at Edinburgh, How to Butcher your Loved Ones, in 2006, was nominated for the Festival’s Best Newcomer award.

He has since enjoyed other Festival hits with shows like Social Leprosy For Beginners & Improvers, Don’t just Do Something, Sit There and The Too Ugly For Television Tour.

Yet none of that rubbish has brought him any joy in his life.
