Audiences can find out when The Egg Theatre presents this inventive and hugely entertaining adaptation of the much-loved children’s book by Nicholas Allan at Lincoln Drill Hall for two performances on Saturday (11th October).

Dilys, the Queen’s maid, is the royal custodian of her Majesty’s ‘intimate apparel’, also known as ‘The Queen’s Knickers’.

She guards Her Majesty’s smalls as if they were the crown jewels.

She would be mortified if anyone got a glimpse of them.

But one day the pants go missing, causing a national state of emergency and a diplomatic incident of catastrophic proportions.

Combining stand-up comedy, clowning, anarchic sketches and silly songs, the show is for children aged three and over

This comic story for wise young children about hysterical adults has been a favourite with young children and parents since its publication 20 years ago.

It’s all about knickers but it definitely won’t be pants.
