Fielding shot to national fame for his part of the childlike eccentric Vince Noir in the cult comedy series The Mighty Boosh.

Vince is vibrant and flamboyant, a direct contrasting to his friend Howard in the show.

Fielding also plays various supporting characters in the Mighty Boosh, including: Tony Harrison, a small pink head with tentacles and member of the shaman council, the Hitcher, a cockney hitch-hiker with a polo mint for an eye, the Moon, Spider Dijon, a bongo player in Rudi’s band and Old Gregg, a hermaphroditic merman obsessed with Baileys Irish Cream and watercolors.

The Mighty Boosh won the Shockwaves NME Best TV Award three times between 2007 and 2010.

Fielding is also well known for being one of the team captain’s on BBC2’s Never Mind The Buzzcocks, which has done since 2009 when he replaced Bill Bailey on the show on a permanent basis, having initially stood in for him as a guest captain prior to that.

As well as The Mighty Boosh and Buzzcocks, Fielding has also appeared on TV in shows like Michael Mcintyre’s Roadshow, Big Fat Quiz Of The Year, QI, and his own show on Channel 4, Noel Fielding’s Luxury Comedy.

Next year, however, sees him return to his stand-up roots of the 1990s, during which time he also appeared regularly on Lee Mack’s show Gas .

For his Baths Hall appearance, there will be support from the loose stylings of hs brother Mike Fielding and the physical lunacy of Tom Meeton, both of whom appear with Fielding in The Mighty Boosh as well as in other projects of their own.

A spokesman for the show said: “You’d be a fool to miss out.”

“Come along, bring your nan, fancy dress optional.”
