Louth Lions Santa Sleigh is ready to go
As we come to the end of 2024, Louth and District Lions would like to say a huge thank you to all our sponsors and supporters! We have had an amazingly successful year raising money which goes towards supporting local endeavours, charities and individuals who need a little support in our community.
We started the year’s events with our Tractor Run in May, Classic Car Show and our first Beer Festival in June. The Duck Race fell on another fine day in September and was a great success. The Golf Day followed and then came our Charity Bonfire Night held jointly with our colleagues at Rotary, thankfully a much drier event this year! Later this month we will be running our annual corporate casino night and then comes the children’s favourite, Santa’s Sleigh, to round off our events for the year.
Santa will be at the Fish Shambles on Saturday the 7th and 14th December and at the Market Place on 15th December. We have added an extra night to our Santa run which will start on Sunday 8th December and run each night until Thursday 12th December. You will be able to track Santa on the “Lions Charity Louth” Facebook page, and on the night, listen out for the bell that signals he is on his way!
We can’t wait to see you so bring you letters to Santa Claus and have a sweetie and a selfie with the man himself. Here’s where he will be each evening:
