Marshall Rally to honour history

It was the last of the iconic wheeled Field Marshall tractors to be built in Gainsborough.

And Gainsborough and District Heritage Association have decided to mark the occasion with a celebration at Williamson’s Farm, A159 Blyton Road, Gainsborough.

Both Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th August boast a jam packed schedule from 9am - 5pm, including a Spitfire fly-past on Saturday.

Exhibits include traction engines, road rollers, commercial vehicles, stationary engines, modelers, trade and craft stalls, and classic vehicles.

Further attractions include threshing displays, a ploughing demonstration field, children’s fair, crash simulator, bands and arena displays.

Vintage buses will shuttle visitors between Gladstone Street and the site.
