Meet Geoff Capes at our LovePets show

OLYMPIC legend and budgerigar champion Geoff Capes will be opening the huge LovePets weekend event in November.

Thousands are expected to flock to the Peterborough Exec centre at the East of England Showground for the two-day show, organised and supported by the Journal’s publisher Johnston Press. The event is being heavily promoted by the group’s big stable of regional papers, including the Boston Standard, Louth Leader, Skegness Standard, Sleaford Standard and Peterborough Evening Telegraph.

Other guests at the event include Britain’s Got Talent finalists Kate and her amazing dancing dog Gin, who will perform twice daily in the main arena, and popular TV vet Joe Inglis, who still combines his media career with his busy day job as a vet.
