Over 140 people came to see the show at the club’s weekly venue, Osbournby Village Hall.

Mark Bamford from the club said: “We were able to showcase our work and that of local clubs and societies to our community.

“We feel that we made a number of new friends and were able to recruit new enthusiasts to the club.”

He added: “We are now making plans for next year.”

The exhibition was held at the end of June and included the club’s own display layout, which the members have been designing and constructing, based on the village of Compton.

There were five visiting layouts, including some by other clubs, such as Spilsby depicting the Great Northern days.
