Musical variety for all at Thimbleby Church

Star billing goes to the Horncastle Community Choir and the Horncastle Ukulele Band.

They will be supported by local vocalists and musicians.

The concert is being organised by St Margaret’s Thimbleby, Church Restoration Group and they hope the building’s fine acoustics, together with the new heating and lighting, will make this a memorable occasion.

The show takes place this Saturday, April 8, starting at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £5 and are available from Horncastle Music Shop in Bull Ring, the Durham Ox in Thimbleby or from Paul Devlin by calling 01507 522447 / 07720 386814.

Seating at the concert is limited, but there may be some tickets available to purchase at the door on the night.

Refreshments for the audience will also be available on the night.

The proceeds from the concert will go to the church’s restoration fund.

The current project endeavours to see both the tower and steeple of St Margaret’s Church repaired and rebuilt.
