New group starts for budding Billy Elliots

At the weekly sessions, boys will learn street, breakin’ and hip hop style dancing with a trained male dancer and visiting professionals.

There will also be the opportunity to perform locally and regionally.

The new dance group launches today, Wednesday, at Ashby Community Centre from 6pm to 7pm.

This follows on from the success of taster sessions held at schools across North Lincolnshire and the launch of the Alpha Boys Dance Company in February.

Alpha continues at Belton Public Hall on Mondays (term-time only) from 5pm to 6pm. The cost for either group is £2 per session.
