North Anston: Panto really is a family affair
Christmas is fast approaching and that means families getting together to enjoy traditional pantomimes.
And the Walkers from North Anston are no exception.
Performing in Handsworth & Hallam Theatre Company’s production of Aladdin this year will be Mathew Walker as Widow Twanky.
He will be joined on stage by his mum Bev and brother Jo, as Aladdin, fresh from appearing in Our House at Sheffield Lyceum.

Hide AdMeanwhile, Mathew’s dad Scott will be in charge of the orchestra as musical director while his fiance Hayley Wilbourne has choreographed the show and will be helping backstage with hers and Mathew’s new baby, who arrived only recently.
Aladdin is on at The Montgomery Theatre, Surrey Street from 22nd-25th January at 7.15pm each night, plus a Saturday matinee at 2.15pm).
