Notts: Bodega date for Rat Boy on upcoming UK tour
Described as a cross between Mike Skinner and Jamie T, Rat Boy is heading out a headline UK tour later this year and will be playing Nottingham’s Bodega on 16th September.
Rat Boy’s homegrown raps paint a lyrical dissertation of suburban Britain.
It’s a place in which stepping onto public transport is akin to entering a battlefield: a land of wannabe gangsters and sportswear casualties, built on influences like Ian Dury, The Clash, Squeeze, Blur and The Streets and lyrics written while working the kitchens at Wetherspoons.
