Notts: Bodega date for incendiary British rockers Turbowolf

Hailed as one of the best live acts in the county right now, British alt-rockers Turbowolf are live at Nottingham’s Bodega next month as part of their headline UK tour.

The Bristol four-piece have already supported Royal Blood and Death From Above 1979 on their tours and received great acclaim both times.

Now they are the headline act for their latest tour which is in support of their new album Two Hands.

After spending most of 2013 writing the album, the band took to the legendary Rockfield Studios in Wales to record it in a frenzied six weeks, breaking every rule they could in the search for sonic excellence.

The result is an incendiary body of work, co-produced with Tom Dalgety (Royal Blood, Band of Skulls, Opeth).

Two Hands is released next month and will be the first official release from Turbowolf after they signed to Universal Music as the first band announced under the joint venture between Spinefarm Records and Search & Destroy back in November.

Last month, the band played a sold-out show at London’s Dingwalls which led one reviewer to say: “From the moment Turbowolf hit the stage they’re completely unstoppable, shaking your foundations and demanding that you dance.”

“The band lock into the groove so tight, there’s not an ounce of fat between the notes.”

“Turbowolf have evolved into the full package, primed for the big time.”

Their Nottingham gig takes place on 10th April.
