On their way to Edinburgh

GAINSBOROUGH welcomes four top comedians on 14th June for an Edinburgh Festival preview show.

The Hoot Comedy Club returns to Trinity Arts Centre from 7pm.

Headlining is award-winning stand-up Debra-Jane Appelby, described by our sister paper the Worksop Guardian as ‘hands down the funniest female comedian I have ever seen’.

Debra, who has appeared on Paramount’s The World Stands Up, will preview material from her upcoming Edinburgh show The Peter Pan Generation.

Harriet Dyer will also take to the stage fresh from a week of shows in New York’s most prestigious comedy clubs.

The Guardian says she is ‘one to watch’. And she has been on ITV’s FHM Stand-Up Hero and E4’s Big Brother’s Big Mouth.

Completing the Edinburgh line-up is Freddie Farrell whose cheeky-chappy demeanor can carry him through the darkest of subject matter.
