Poppies on the Prom at Mablethorpe
A Poppies on the Prom event is being held for the first time in Mablethorpe to raise funds for the Mablethorpe and District Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
Head to the seaside resort’s Central promenade, where the event takes place this Sunday, August 14, from 11am onwards.
There will be a craft market, 1940s period singers, a Second World War exhibition and the 1228 Mablethorpe Air Cadets Marching Band, plus an art competition, raffle and tombola.
There will also be a tug of war competition, beach games and much more.
In addition to all of these fun festivities, there is also set to be a fly past from a Battle of Britain plane.
