The Sixties Gold 50th Anniversary tour will be coming to Doncaster Dome in the autumn.

The tour features record breaking Merseybeat band Gerry and The Pacemakers, the second Liverpool band to chart after The Beatles, but the first to reach number one and the first act ever to top the charts with their first three singles.

Also from Liverpool, The Searchers’ first single went to number one and led to five more top five hits and a total of 128 weeks in the charts.

Controversial P.J. Proby was a Melody Maker teen idol award winner in 1964 and spent 91 weeks in the charts.

And The Fortunes stormed the top 10 with You’ve Got Your Troubles, Here It Comes Again, Freedom Come Freedom Go and Storm in a Teacup.

Tickets are on sale now at £29.50. Call 01302 303950 or visit www.the-dome.co.uk
