For The Fallen is a famous war poem, written in 1914 by Robert Laurence Binyon from which the Ode to Remembrance is taken.

The Ryton Chorale’s concert will include Elgar’s ‘Spirit of England’ and ‘Dona Nobis Pacem’ by Ralph Vaughan Williams.

“And now there is the chance for local people to hear this beautiful music in Worksop.”

The concert starts are 7.30pm and tickets are priced £10 in advance or £12 at the door.

They are available from The Crossing, or choir members, or by calling 01777 862533.
