The next show is at The Well on Hospital Road on Wednesday night (29th October) and features the award-winning trio of Laura Lexx, Rob Rouse and Rob Thomas.

Comedian, actress and writer Laura Lexx is a uniquely gleeful performer who indulges her audience in an unrelenting childish attention.

She has a quirky, Somerset spin on the world and is happy to relax with the audience and take on any subject.

Rob Rouse got his first break in comedy by winning the So You Think You’re Funny? new act competition in 1998.

As well as stand-up, he also performed as part of the Big And Daft trio with Ian Boldsworth and Jon Williams from 1997 to 2002, taking three shows to the Edinburgh Fringe.

His TV credits include presenting the first series of The Friday Night Project on Channel 4, the Channel 4 sketch show Spoons, and playing Mike in the first series of the BBC3 sitcom Grown Ups.

Rob Thomas is making waves across the stand-up comedy circuit, despite being a relative newcomer.

His livewire, upbeat nature is the perfect crowd relaxant, and he’s got ‘more energy than a five year old on Red Bull’, to quote Paul Kerensa.

The show starts at 8pm (doors open 7pm) and tickets priced £8 (£10 on the door), which includes a free drink in the Comedy Bar are available from the venue now.
