Retford: Local bands to be part of Fake Festival line-up
The Vinegar Strokes, Gaucho, Stolen Fridays, Propeller and Southpaw will be sharing the stage with some of the UK’s best tribute bands, including Supreme Queen, The Fillers and The Total Stone Roses inside the huge marquee.
“Choosing the support bands to perform at Fake Festivals is a long process and not a very easy one,” explained Jez Lee, owner of Fake Festivals brand.

“We don’t just randomly pick a band, but we actually go to gigs to get an idea of how they would perform on our big stage, and also to assess their talent.”
The Vinegar Strokes will be providing the warm up for The Total Stone Roses, while Gaucho return to the gig scene, with a set of classic covers perfectly chosen for Retford Fake Festival.
Stolen Fridays will provide something different again, Propeller cover anything from Green Day to Dirty Pretty Things, while Southpaw will open the festival itself.
