Royal Philharmic Orchestra share America's golden era

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra bring The Great American Songbook to The Baths Hall, Scunthorpe, on Wednesday, April 27.

This exciting concert pays homage to The Great American Songbook of the early 20th century. The orchestra will performs timeless classics from the Kings of Broadway and Hollywood.

Travelling through The Great American Songbook, the orchestra will perform charming numbers from Irving Berlin such as Puttin’ on the Ritz, Let’s Face the Music and Dance and the song that Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers immortalised on film, Cheek to Cheek. You’ll also be able to hear classics that have been loved throughout the ages including Cole Porter’s Who Want to be a Millionaire & Ev’ry Time We Say Goodbye and Jerome Kern’s The Way You Look Tonight.
