In recognition of the Queen’s 90th birthday year, the theme for the scarecrows is Really Royal.

There will be a rich variety of gardens open - approximately ten in total - from large parkland styles to small cottage types.

The parish church will also be open and two of the gardens are in the NGS Scheme, also open in July and August.

The gardens will be open this Saturday and Sunday between 12 noon and 5pm.

Combined admission is £5 for adults, children aged 12 and under free, with tickets available from the Multi Use Centre, just off the Market Place in South Street.

Proceeds from the event will, as always, go to the British Red Cross.
