New gardens not open in previous years will be among the 13 taking part, with around 40 scarecrows taking up residence around the village too.

In addition, St Hybald’s Church will host floral displays and, weather permitting, there will be a Spitfire flypast.

Admission to the event is £3, accompanied children free, which is payable at the village hall, where the Vale of Ancholme Academy Band will be performing.

A Free mini bus service will operate around the village all day.

Refreshments, including light lunches, will be available all day in the Village Hall, with tea and coffee also available at the Church Hall, where there will be a display by the Hibaldstow Art Group.
