Organised by Market Rasen New Life Church, and supported by other churches in the town and further afield, LoveLincs 2016 will be launched at The Festival Hall on Wednesday, June 15, and will end at the same venue with a Father’s Day Finale on Sunday, June 19.

“We are thrilled to have international speaker Jonathan Conrathe with us for these five days,” said New Life Pastor, Paul Hiley.

“Jonathan has spoken in 45 different countries and is an engaging and entertaining speaker.”

Jonathan will be out and about in Rasen on Friday, June 17, from 10am to 1pm, meeting people in the Market Place and that evening will share some stories at a musical event featuring local band Hebdon Wood and their easy blend of folk, blues, gospel and country music.

The evening includes a Ploughman’s Supper, with tickets £2.50 from the church office on 01673 849941.

For a great start to the weekend, there will be a Big Breakfast event for men in The Festival Hall at 9am on the Saturday - booking is not essential but a call to the office will help with catering.

Jonathan will give a short talk at this event.

For families, head down to The Bell Playing Field for 2pm on the Saturday afternoon for lots of fun activities, including Bouncetastic, which features a bouncy castle, a horizontal bungee run, an inflatable giant obstacle course and boxing ring.

It is also rumoured Peppa Pig may be making an appearance too.

There will also be garden fete type games, including the ever popular Fantastic Fruit Machine.

Take along a picnic and the church will provide ice cream and drinks - all free.

The Festival ends with a Father’s Day Finale in the Festival Hall on June 19, including a number of special fun challenges for every father.

It is a 10.45am start.

“We are working hard to make this a very special festival for the town” said Mr Hiley.
