Born in Rotherham, Lauren Housley is now based in Manchester and will perform with her band, consisting of Thomas Dibb – guitars, Mark Lewis – bass, Chris Hillman – pedal steel, dobro, mandolin, and Craig Hanson – drums.

Last year, she released the album ‘Sweet Surrender’ and on it she proves she creates music that crosses over soul, blues, country and rock barriers, while reaching out to the mainstream and all demographics in between.

Live, her voice is as powerful and subtle as you hear on record, if not more so.

Advance tickets for the concert this Saturday, February 27, cost £12.50 (£14.50 on the door) from Brian on 01652 649230 or at

Support comes from Leeds University music student Skye.
