The guitar virtuoso last performed at the Arena as part of Dire Straits back in 1991 and is the first artist booked to play the Arena’s new reduced capacity 4,000 seated venue, The Steel Hall, which is housed within the Arena’s main hall, bringing the audience closer to the event.

Hailed by many of his peers as one of the greatest guitarists rock has ever seen, the tour will enable fans to hear songs from his new album, Tracker, which is released next month.

He will also play some of the classic Dire Straits songs such as Sultans of Swing.
