South Yorks: Extra date announced for Shrek at the Lyceum in Sheffield

Due to popular demand, Sheffield Theatres has announced an extra performance of Shrek: The Musical at the Lyceum Theatre on 7th June at 5pm.

Shrek: The Musical is playing for an extra date at the Lyceum

Join unlikely hero, Shrek and his loyal steed Donkey as they embark on a quest to rescue the beautiful (if slightly temperamental) Princess Fiona from a fire-breathing, love-sick dragon.

Add the diminutive Lord Farquaad, a gang of fairytale misfits and a biscuit with attitude and it results in one of the most popular musicals to hit the West End in recent times.

Based on the hit Disney movie, Shrek opens at the Lyceum on 27th May as part of its first ever tour of the UK and Ireland, following its successful West End run at the Drury Lane Theatre.
