South Yorks: Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice coming to The Crucible in Sheffield

James Northcote, who was in the Oscar-winning film, The Imitation Game, will play Mr Darcy with Isabella Laughland, who played Leanne in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, as Elizabeth Bennet.

Michele Austin (Casual Vacancy, Death In Paradise) will play Mrs Bennet with Downton Abbey’s Howard Ward as Mr Bennet.

Completing the cast are Ronke Adekoluejo, Leona Allen, Matthew Aubrey, Adam Buchanan, Grace Chilton, Nell Hudson, Emma McDonald, Abigail McKern, Sam Parks, Royce Pierreson, Corinna Powlesland, Ruby Thomas and Eleanor Yates, along with members of Sheffield Peoples’ Theatre.

Pride & Prejudice is on from 14th May to 6th June and tickets are £12-£23.
