The money was raised from the Christmas raffle.

At short notice, Paul Scott gave an interesting presentation about his work at the Joseph Banks Centre in Horncastle.

Competition winners on the evening were Sue Hansford, Joan Harrison and Mary Walsham.

Flower of the month winners were Michelle Willows, Christine Johnson and Joan Masser.

Hilary Williams gave an update from the Waring Group of WIs, where the new convenor is Sue Fitch.

There will be a fashion show at Stanhope Hall on April 19 at 7.30pm, with admission £3 for members and £4 for visitors.

Following the success at the Lincolnshire Show in 2014, members are being asked once again to search out unwanted handbags, scarves and jewellery for the trustees’ stall.

Next month’s annual meeting is on March 9 at 2pm.
