Step into Santa’s Magical Grotto for memorable experience
In recognition of the financial pressures many families face during the festive season, the Lindsey Rural Players — the charitable organisation behind the Broadbent Theatre in Wickenby — have announced the return of their enchanting Santa’s Grotto experience at an accessible price.
This December 13 and 14, 10am-4pm, children and their families are invited to immerse themselves in a world of seasonal magic at the Broadbent Theatre.
Upon arrival, young visitors are welcomed by a troupe of cheerful elves and encouraged to pen heartfelt letters to Santa. The event promises more than just a meeting with Father Christmas, with families able to enjoy games, festive songs, a dressing up corner and lively interactions with vibrant panto characters before meeting both Mother and Father Christmas in a beautifully adorned winter wonderland, say the organisers.
A highlight of each visit is the receipt of a special gift, while a dedicated make-up corner provides the perfect opportunity for families to capture the moment together in photographs — creating keepsakes for years to come.

With a programme of interactive activities, seasonal treats, and a warm, inclusive atmosphere, organisers are keen to emphasise that the Broadbent Theatre’s offering is much more than a traditional Santa’s Grotto. Now in its third year, the event has become a cherished tradition, bringing the community together to celebrate the true spirit of Christmas.
Tickets at £12.50 per child are now available to book, promising an unforgettable Christmas experience for families across the region. Visit broadbenttheatre.org
