Tango star brings Buenos Aires to Bawtry
Argentina’s finest tango vocalist Martín Alvarado will be performing in Bawtry on Sunday as part of a tour to mark his first worldwide album release.
The concert at the Phoenix Theatre will see the award-winning Buenos Aires-born singer perform in true tango troubadour style, accompanying himself on acoustic guitar.
It is part of his fifth UK tour, which will culminate in a launch party for his fourth album, Guitar Tango: Más Allá.

His carefully chosen repertoire features work by Argentina’s most celebrated poets and composers, as well as his own compositions.
Tickets are £10 on the door or £8 in advance. Children under 11 are half price.
